Nike SB is set to pay homage to mid-90s urban fashion with its upcoming Biggie and Tupac pack. Dressed in denim, this pack consists of a Nike Air Force II and a Nike SB Dunk Low with a clear vintage aesthetic. A retro Nike Crest logo comes into play on the lateral heel of the Chambray SB Dunk, while a paisley pattern adorns the Air Force II – reminiscent of Pac’s affinity for wearing bandanas. While detailed images of the AFII are scarce, we do have an extended look at the Dunk, and the combination of the aforementioned Crest logo and a plaid insole resembles Tommy Hilfiger’s 1990’s aesthetic. Grab a detailed look at the SB Pack said to be inspired by Biggie and Tupac below and stay tuned for updates as they become available.
Nike’s Air Max Plus silhouette has garnered an increased amount of attention as of late, with a number of OG returns as well as its inclusion in the incredibly popular Vapormax Plus model. Next up for the boisterous sneaker is the return of another original that comes dressed in a combination of white with a blue gradient on its upper. Its underlay sports the aforementioned gradient while its overlay and midsole utilize a stark white for contrast.
Nike’s Vapormax Plus silhouette has enjoyed a run of bright, whimsical gradient colors as part of their spring line, and yet another multi-colored gradient, this time boasting a full-on rainbow has been unveiled. The shoe morphs from blue and teal on the heel and tongue to yellow on the midfoot before finally transitioning into a bright habanero red color on the forefoot and toebox. A translucent midfoot cage allows the rainbow gradient to fully shine through on the whole foot, and the upper also features white detailing on the laces, collar, toe cap and heel tab. The shoe’s summer-ready aesthetic is rounded off with a white midsole complete with a small touch of bright yellow detailing and a crystal-clear Vapormax cushioning unit.
Nike’s Air Max 270 silhouette has cemented itself as one of the most important releases for the Swoosh this year as it has garnered an incredible amount of attention for a brand new silhouette. Serving as the first Air Max sneaker specifically designed for lifestyle wear, it boasts the largest heel bubble in the brand’s history that has become a vessel for the sneaker’s expression. Measured at 32-mm, the semi-translucent unit has become both the focal point for certain selections and an element of contrast for others.
